Did you ever shop online? Get to know behind the scene from merchandising, marketing to retail operations.

Higher Nitec in Retail & Online Business will teach you the skills and knowledge to support retail sales, implement retail practices on the shop floor, assist in buying process, liaise with suppliers, enhance the customer experience over e-platforms and perform consumer trends’ studies to generate commercial insights.

Entry Requirements

GCE 'O' level grades in English Language, Mathematics/Principles of Accounts and 1 other subject:

  • Grade 1-7 in English Language
  • Grade 1-8 in Mathematics (Elementary/Additional) or Principles of Accounts*
  • Grade 1-7 in one other subject
    *To be eligible for selection, you must have sat for Mathematics (Elementary/Additional).

Progression Opportunities

Higher Nitec in Retail & Online Business graduates may apply for progression to the following Work-Study Diploma courses at ITE:

Higher Nitec in Retail & Online Business graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. Higher Nitec in Retail & Online Business graduates obtain training in digital marketing and merchandising which widen their opportunities to be employed by retail establishments for both shop front and back-end office.
