Learners will experience firsthand how to design and create a prototype using CAD software, and produce the components for assembling using a 3D printer.

At the end of the module, students will be able to:

Understand how prototypes for designs can be depicted in drawings and diagrams via 2D and 3D drawings.
Produce simple customised components with the application of 3D printing technology.
