See the world from above! Train on modern instrumentation, electrical, and avionics systems that are applicable to both manned and unmanned aircraft.
In this course, you will learn to maintain and repair modern avionics systems on-board various aircraft types housed in our very own aircraft hangar. With our latest Unmanned Aircraft (UA) also known as drone, students will have a deeper understanding of piloting a drone. You will be equipped with high tech skills to maintain and operate both manned and unmanned aircraft.
What you'll learn
- Perform maintenance of electrical wiring looms and related systems
- Perform maintenance of electrical and electronics systems
- Assist to perform operational tests on the instrumentation system
- Assist to perform operational tests on the radio system
- Perform general aircraft general maintenance

- Applicants for this course must ensure that they are free from colour appreciation deficiency.
- Shortlisted applicants will have to attend an interview and aptitude test.

Progression Opportunities
Nitec in Aerospace Avionics graduates with a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 may apply for progression to the following Work-Study Diploma courses at ITE:
Nitec in Aerospace Avionics graduates with a GPA of 3.0 and above may apply for progression to a Technical Engineer Diploma course at ITE. For more details on progression, please click here.

Our graduates are employed by aerospace companies, which maintain and repair aircraft instrumentation, communication, navigation and electrical systems. The job titles held by graduates include Aircraft Technician (Avionics), Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Unmanned Aircraft Operator.
