Interactive Electronics

This practical-oriented course presents students with the opportunity to program and interface input/output devices such as light-emitting diodes (LED), Infra-red (IR) transmitter and receiver, buzzer and vibrator to a microcontroller. Based on their understanding of the various types of electronic components, architecture of microcontroller and the programming techniques acquired during the course, students will interface a microcontroller to an electronic circuit to assemble an electronic toy and control it using programming techniques.

At the end of the module, students will be able to assemble and program a microcontroller-based electronic project using Arduino.
