Are you working in the vector control industry? This course is designed for those who are planning to apply to National Environment Agency (NEA) for the Vector Control Technician license. You will be trained to carry out pest inspection work, prepare work site for pest management, use pesticides and pest management equipment, prepare pesticides and supervise pest control operations performed by workers hired by the company.

Course Information

Upon successful completion of 2 practical and 1 theory assessments and satisfying the attendance criteria of 75%, participants will be issued the Joint ITE-NEA Certificate in Pest Management.

Course Details

Lessons conducted on every Wednesday & Thursday (Subject to adjustment)

Time: 6.45pm – 9.45pm

The detailed lesson plan will be given by the trainer on the first day of class together with the course notes.

Duration: 66 hours (20 sessions)
Classroom Training Hours: 30 hours
Practical: 31 hours
Assessment: 5 hours

Please note that there will 3 lessons that will be conducted in the morning.
Lab Practical: 09.00am – 1.00pm
Outfield Lesson: 09.00am – 3.00pm
Theory Exam: 08.45am – 10.30am

You need to pass 1 Theory Exam, 1 Practical Assignment & 1 Phase Test and attain at least 75% attendance to be issued the certificate
