Certification

Course participants are required to attend the course and pass the assessments to receive the WSQ Statements of Attainment (SOA).

Candidates certified competent are recognized by SFA as meeting the licensing requirement to work as food handlers.

Entry requirements

Participants should possess basic literacy in English or Chinese so that they can understand the lessons and communicate in class. This course will be conducted in either English or Mandarin.

Duration: 6 hrs training + 1.5 hrs assessment (9.30 am – 6.30 pm)

If you are paying using your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC), do note that the “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” will expire on 31 December 2025.  This credit can be used only for courses starting on or before 31 December 2025.

The “One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up” is a one-off SFC top-up of $500 given by the government in 2020, for all eligible Singaporeans aged 25 or above.
